Since the day he hatchedIt was late at night, and the room was completely dark, save for a small flickering candle on a desk beside the nearby window. For many pones, such light wouldn't have been enough to do any real reading, but for Twilight, she'd grown used to it. This was not the first late-night study session she'd done, and it wouldn't be the last. She was occupying herself with her latest book, a tome on all the knowledge ponies had about dragons, the most ferocious creatures known to their kind.Since the day he hatched by ~Thejboy88
Recent events had made her realise just how little she knew about them. For it was only a few short hours ago that she and her friends, Rarity and Rainbow Dash, had been given a first-hand experience with a few dangerous specimens. But the experience had all been worth it, because now, they'd managed to save one who was very dear to her. Spike, her "number one assistant", who had gone to the dragon migration to find out more about what it meant to be a dragon, as well as to perhaps find others of his family.
Three Questions about Spike1. Do you think that Twilight would be the pony she is today if Spike were never her assistant?Three Questions about Spike by ~BigSims3030
2. Do you think Spike could have been made a bit more tougher and less timid character if he had a male posse to hang out with?
3. This is an idea that's been done to death in fanfics, but do you think Spike would be happier and given a more important role if he were to somehow be magically turned into a pony? You think the fact that he's the only good dragon as of now in Equestria won't ever bother him?
The reason I ask the first question is because I feel that Spike's role as Twilight's assistant is a bit underplayed. Mainly since Twilight hardly thanks him for anything he does. I don't think we'll ever get to know about Spike's backstory in Season 4 so I think it's up to us to think about how she ended up in Equestria.
I'm not saying that Spike should take over the show or anything like that. In fact, I'd make the argument that Spike's performances have the the worst when th
Gift-The Fire Ruby AnkletPonyville's jewelry shop was lacking in customers today, so it surprised the clerk when the bell rung, announcing the presence of a customer entering the store. That customer happened to be Spike, who was holding something in his claw.Gift-The Fire Ruby Anklet by *Lady-Fortune
"Can I help you?" the clerk asked, getting Spike's attention.
The dragon approached the counter and placed a small Fire Ruby onto the countertop. "I was wondering if you can craft this into an anklet?" he asked.
"My friend certainly can, but it will cost you a bit," the mare behind the counter told him.
"Don't worry," Spike assured her, taking out a brown sack of bits. "I've been saving up for this day."
"I see you have," she noted, surprised at the size of the bag. She took the Fire Ruby and gave it to a jewelry making pony in back. Once the Ruby was accepted and she told him that he wanted it on a gold band, she trotted back to the counter.
"Anything else?" the clerk asked.
"Of course!" Spike told her. "Wrap it up and have the tag say it's for Twilight
